February at Playtime Port continued to build on the strong foundations established at the beginning of the year, with a clear focus on belonging, confidence and supporting children as they settled into their learning environments. Across both rooms, educators intentionally supported secure relationships, independence and daily routines, helping children feel safe, capable and connected within the service. Learning experiences throughout the month included baking fresh bread, sustainability practices, gardening, recycling, and preparing for upcoming excursions that strengthen children’s understanding of community and the world around them. These everyday moments continue to reflect our commitment to meaningful early learning through belonging, being and becoming.
