February at Playtime Wauchope was a month of growth, transition and strengthening the foundations that support children, families and educators within our service. Alongside important leadership changes, with Charlene stepping into the Centre Manager role and new opportunities across the team, there was a strong focus on maintaining calm, consistent and high-quality learning for children each day. We also began planning for new community-based experiences through our partnership with Linky Littlies, creating opportunities for children to safely connect with their wider community and deepen their understanding of belonging, place and the people around them. Alongside this, our team continues to strengthen child safety, health practices and everyday care through ongoing professional learning and clear communication with families.
